Coneflowers Galore!

Last year's drought kept many of the native flower species from blooming. This year is much different with flowers almost blooming with a vengeance. One of my favorites, the glade coneflower, seems to be doing especially well. I am seeing fields of flowers where there were none a couple of years ago. Here are some different looks. I played around with the Tokina 10-17 I had kept from my first go-around with DX. Also used the Sigma 150 and the 300 f/4.

I also like the selective focus on the last one! Looks like you had a great time shooting.

I realy like the soft feel of nr 5, very femimin and intimate.
I dont know if that is the way one should look at pictures that way, but it touched me that way.

Thanks, Chad. I like playing with the Tokina. Sometimes I leave the distortion and sometimes I click the button in LR to remove it. I'm glad I didn't sell it when I "left" DX - since I am back with it.
