If I remember correctly from my year and a half in Chicago more than 25 yrs. ago (ack!), the NBC affiliate was WMAQ, and I also have a feeling that this was the former anchor spot for Jane Pauley before she went to the Today Show and married Garry Trudeau . . .

NBC these days....but I think WMAQ is still part of it and on the local radio.
