I hope nobody will mind seeing some old stuff! These are part of the Vista Gas and Steam museum, Vista, Ca. Some run, some will be restored, some for parts but it is a treasure of old trucks, tractors etc. Anyone in the area, it's worth spending a day there. More shots are on my web site too.

I was thinking that as well. It does look like they are working inside out. The brick foundation lead me to believe it is something other than a water tower. I generally don't get to that area very often, so I will have to make it a point to stop by a few more times and check progress.

Probably some type of piling rig, perhaps vibrates piles into position

A few from the weekend to bump the thread. In other news, saw a very interesting location between Oakland and McHenry MD, a lot full of ancient looking stuff. Up on a hill on a corner. Could not get a good POV. Anybody know the place? I think it's on or near Rte 135.
