COOLING OFF

Discussion in 'People' started by PEPPER PETE, Jul 21, 2005.

  1. I've been on vacation for awhile and haven't posted much in the last couple of weeks. This is one of the photos taken of people cooling off in the Smith river in the Calif. Redwoods. I sure wish I was one of them, the temp was about 105 degrees. Thought Id share.

  4. Hi Gale, It was HOT HOT and yes I also wish I was the one jumping into the water. We had a fantastic time and am planning to go out again next week somewhere.

Neat image, Pete. Would have been a great location to shoot from with long glass and do a burst following the jumper into the water. But even at a distance...a nice image none the less.

  6. Hi Frank, I added a couple more at the top of the post. Yes I wish I had taken a sequence shot. I used a 70-200VR I was up pretty high and took the shots at 200mm.
