I had a client bring her litter of 4 8 week old Corgi pups to me for some studio and outdoor work. Outdoor shots were with the D5 and 70-200 FL and indoor studio shots were with the D850 and 24-120 against white seamless paper using 3 Einstein 640s. Here is a sample of that session.

Nice set, Rich. They might be a corgi's pups but I don't think corgi pups. Looks like mom had an Aussie boyfriend.

They are indeed 100% Corgis from champion lines from a very well known breeder. Dad was a Grand champion in breed, and mom is also a breed grand champion.

First, great shots, my friend!

And they are beautiful pups. I believe one is a Cardigan Welsh Corgi, right? On the right in the first shot. So cute.
But the blue-eyed Corgi has me baffled. What type is it?

Interesting. Only pups I've seen had ears half standing. Googled it. Apparently don't even begin to straighten until at least 8 weeks.

Thank you Glenn. Indeed they are all Cardigan Welsh Corgis.

Rich, you're the master! I've missed seeing your canine portraits.

The WB looks a bit off on #2. Your white background paper looks yellow.

I did notice that when I uploaded it. No idea why that happened. Let me try it again...

...and now it looks fine. That was weird.
