I just get this thingy from local Craigslist for $95 Cad with the Nikon adapter, anyone ever used this lens before, the guy said this lens is 40 years old, hope I can believe him. Here is 1 quick sample, what you guys think?

From what I can see it looks pretty sharp and has good bokeh. Take a couple more and post some 100% crops.

Looks to have very smooth bokeh. A quick Google on over to Flickr reveals several other nice shots with this lens. Nice find!

Another Google reveals this lens has a 15 blade aperture (!!!) That would explain the beautiful bokeh.

135mm lenses where VERY popular back then. Most manufacturers had really good lenses in that FL (for example the Soligor 135/2 seems to be nice).

I have never seen a really bad 135mm lens, no matter what brand.

    nice find

  8. atoronto crop a portion of the picture small enough that it would not have to be shrink to be displayed on the forum. I don't know the dimensions above which the forum does auto shrinking.
