Costa Rica #5 - Plants and Flowers

Discussion in 'Macro, Flowers, Insects, and Greenery' started by bobhoge, May 29, 2005.

  1. In the Monteverde Cloud Forest there were several suspension bridges through the hills of the forest that allowed you to get to the top of the forest as you crossed the valley.

  4. Fascinating...

Those are all plants I've photographed at the botanical gardens. It's fascinating to see them in the wild.

  5. Hi Dave,

You would really enjoy the Monteverde Cloud Forest. There are several long suspension bridges that span deep valleys. As you walk out from one end, you get higher and higher in the trees growing from the valley floor until you get to the middle where you are looking down on the tree tops. A lot of those plants grow on high branches and you would never see them from the ground.
