Cottage on Coos Bay, Oregon

Discussion in 'Wanderlust and Travel' started by Terri French, May 19, 2019.

  1. Last week we traveled to Oregon. For three nights we stayed in a little vacation cottage that we found on Home Away. It was perfect for the two of us. It was a guest house to the main house. The owners had totally renovated the interior and it was immaculate and cozy, but I didn't get any photos of it. But, the outside was unique and fun. Probably not for everyone, but was fun for something different.

  2. Wow! Well done Terri. What an adorable place. Such character.

  3. A lot of places are called cottages that seem only to be small. This place has the look and feel of a true cottage.

  4. Adorable and with quite the view. Well shot.

  5. Thanks, guys!! It was cute and I agree, it was a true cottage.

  6. Nice set, Terri. You gave a nice sense of the place. We love the Oregon Coast. Haven't been down there in three or four years. Thought we would retire there but can't pry ourselves away from AK. Haven't been down there in three or four years. We never leave AK during the summer and winter isn't exactly prime time on the PNW coast.

  7. Sounds like a nice goal to retire there!

  8. Very nice photos from the hometown of Steve Prefontaine!

  9. Thank you. I had to look up Steve Prefontaine!! Not a name I was familiar with.

Your vacation must be wonderful, Terri.
And you perform the Z6 very well.

    Kind regards
    Klaus

  11. You are not a runner. He gave inspiration to American runners in the 1960s.
You captured the charm of the cabin quite well.

  12. The style of the house you have photographed so well reminds me of the one he called home.

  13. Lovely set Terri.

  14. What a great looking place to spend a few days and photographed very well Terri.

  15. Thank you, Klaus. It was a wonderful trip, but way too short!!

  16. Thank you, Allan!! Nope, I'm definitely not a runner.

  17. That's interesting....maybe he lived along the bay, too!!

  18. Thank you Binnur!!

    Thank you, Louis!!
