I like that second shot Bill. It has a nice touch of desolation to it.

Thank you Baxter.. Was just hovering for a few moments while eyeing up a fish below.. Shame of it was that after it caught the fish, another slightly older eagle fought this one for it.. fish dropped several times and it went back and forth between them. The older did finally come away with it.. I of course blew every shot of the action though lol..

Great shots Bill. Im planning a trip up to Bombay Hook next month. Hopefully will time it with the horseshoe crabs.

That must have been something to see. Keep shooting!
Was an exciting sight...

Nice shots.
I like the raccoon in the tree shot. Lol.
Thanks.. Yeah that raccoon really caught me off guard

Thank you.. Hopefully you'll get there before the sweat flies arrive.. I can't say exactly when the horseshoes arrive, but it is in the May/June time. Don't expect to see any at BBH, though there are many beaches on the Delaware Bay a little further south (Bowers, Slaughter, and Kitts Hummock to name a few) that become over run.. Hoping to time it this year myself with the annual migration of the Red Knots. They only stop along the Delaware coastline for a week or so to feed on the horseshoe crab eggs..
