    great shots :>)))
  3. Hey harris - how you doing?

I like the second shot, but I think you should have cropped closer on the first  Very impressive!
  4. Thanks Gale, just working a lot. Get out here and there. My back and right foot have been slowing me down some. Gotta see a friend of mine, a podiatrist, it feels like when I had a stress fracture years ago. Not much I can do by limp on....
  5. I tried to get closer..This was a portrait crop of a shot taken in landscape format. Next time I'll get closer...

    Hey Harris,

Both good, but the first is amazing. 8)
  7. Thanks, not so bad for cropping out 2/3rd of the frame. What does that make it then, 1.3MP? 8)

    Better watch it Harris

You're so close now, that they might decide to peck at that lens of yours! Love the shots, esp that 1st shot! Wow, such fabulous detail! Better get all your ailments healed, 'cause in 3 months I'm gonna be bugging the sh** out of you to show me around to all these great birdie spots!
  9. Re: Better watch it Harris

I'll be the one limping along.. :(
  10. OK now a word of caution, be careful he doesn't take that beak and spear the front element of your lens

  11. maybe I should buy one of those blinds for camoflage? 8)

I really dig the second shot ---the light the background, just great

Feel your pain on the limp - got an old rotator cup injury sometimes hurts just to pick camera up----ain't gettin old a pisser
