Nice. Isn't that a Coyote?
It's close. I believe the ears are too close together and it was kind of small compared to most of the Coyotes I see around here. Seems a bit too orange as well. I just saw a Coyote last week and it was all gray. Now you have me second guessing.

I believe it's a Coyote! Great photo!
Coyote. Long legs, no black on the ears. (Missing a sun hat and a life vest, though . . . :D )
Just talked to a friend who retired from the G&F and is a taxidermist. You guys are correct. It is a Coyote. Even though the color is deceptive he said the round pupils give it away. Foxes have slits for pupils similar to cats.

Nice call.

Very nice Bill, I’ve seen some mangy Coyotes not worthy of photographing and some like the one you photographed that are actually very colorful especially with good lighting that you had. Nice photo indeed.

Well done.😉
Thank you
Wow Bill, top notch job with these images and a very good looking coyote.
Thanks Louie. She's been hanging around hunting the ground Squirrels.
Excellent! Treat her with respect!
Thanks Karen, I appreciate it.

Thanks Vern. I hear you on mangy Coyotes and this one looked pretty healthy. Lots of food around.
