Creating shortcut for Adobe CC

I don't remember whether the icon is automatically added to the system tray. It might be necessary add it there after it's on the desktop.
It isn't clear which icon we are talking about.
The PS icon is not added to the taskbar notification area (to give it its current proper name, the "system tray" name is history). There is an icon added there but it is the Creative Cloud icon, used for updates to any of the CC products, not to run them.

That Creative Cloud application can be used to directly open every Creative Cloud application such as Photoshop and Lightroom installed on my system.

Start / Adobe Photoshop (etc) / Right Click / More / Pin To Taskbar.

Might not be what you want, but it is what I do for most software.
