  5. You want them flying at or by you so we can see the eyes
     
  6. Capturing the entire head would be good. Good processing on the whites.
     
  7. sometimes we get the shot of what we get, exposure is nice, a little more DOF would have been better, a spot on the wing is in focus then the eye and rest is lost...............but for a get the idea photo..........very nice.

    thx all for the quick reply. Shot with my d500 f 5.6 1250s 18-140mm iso 160------not raw jpeg. Not want I wanted but I'm getting better.

  10. You might reconsider shooting raw. Those bleached out areas along the tops of the wings might have been recovered in a raw image.
    This picture is undersharpened, IMO.
