They tell me that the Sunday Cruses at Bakers of Milford is one of the top 5 weekly car shows in the US.

Very nice series, Dave. Something in that gallery for everyone's taste in cars. Were you using a CP filter? The images look really sharp without much in the way of glare. The close-ups of the engine compartments was particulary nice...great shooting as always.

    Thanks Frank
The only filter used was the UV filter, they are right from the camera.
I used both my D70's 1 with my Tokina 12-24 and the other with my 28-200 Nikkor (I really should start using that lens more).

  4. Dave I grew up literally 2 miles from Baker's...

My father and I showed our 35 Ford business coupe there on many occassion...

    Thanks for the pics!

    Thanks for sharing these shots.

by the way wat settings did you use on the D70? did you use a custom curve?

    Small world..
Just to let you know, Paul Baker passed away 2 weeks ago of a heart attack while driving home.. He was on the phone with his son Chris when he died.

They were either taken with a Tokina 12-24 or a Nikkor 28-200 G.
    I use the fotogenetic_point_and_shoot_v40 curve.
The pictures are right from the camera, no PP at all. (My favorite way to do it!)

That Bug was really cool, you should have heard it as it drove off.. Talk about POWER! :)
