Sorry for posting a photo from archive. Andy, hope you don't mind.

I took these when I was visiting South Korea last summer. The tree had fallen over the wall. But the tree didn't die and continues to grow. The park keepers put up these poles to support the weight of the branches so that the trunk doesn't snap. More poles will be added in the future as the tree grows bigger.

I noticed some Highland cattle as I was driving down the road. I know that they are common in some areas of the world but they are somewhat unusual in my little area. I couldn't get close enough for a good shot so I had to really crop the photo.

Excellent shots. As you say not so unusual in some parts of the world (like the North of Scotland, where I grew up) but not so in other areas. Thanks for sharing!

For shots this "unusual" I don't mind:wink:

Is there something special about the tree that makes them want to keep it? Near here we have the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest, which is also propped up - but it is a little bit older than this one. And we also have the apple tree where Isaac Newton sat and watched the apples fall before he "invented" gravity:wink: It is also being unnaturally supported. Maybe we could have a CS on weird trees:rolleyes:

I really like the parking thing in the second picture. We need one of those at my work:biggrin:

Nice capture!

I really did not expect the wishbone from our turkey dinner to wind up in some telephone lines running next to a farm:

Funny, and ties in well with the theme Ed.

Nice colors and contrast to the wall Fredi.

Love them old cars Tri. Nice capture!

Love the parking thingy, went to see Ray Charles in downtown Vancouver in the 70`s and they parked my car in a thing like that, but never seen one since.
