Welcome to CS #355….

”The Four Elements: Earth, Air, Fire & Water.”

Classically, every physical thing in the earthly world has been defined as being either:

Earth (solid)
Air (Gas)
Water (Liquid)
Fire (burning or emitting light….also plasma)

Simple really, since everything you can possibly image contains at least one of those elements.
This week I encourage people to take an image which represents a combination
of these elements in a creative manner for the viewer.
If you want to do one element at a time, that is fine too.

Note: The presence of the element “Air” may be inferred by its effect on objects such as a flag,
swaying tall grass or the wind shaping high clouds (water vapor itself is a gas).

The shoot runs from…well from right NOW until 12:01 am Thursday August 29th.
It’s ok to post archived images but the purpose of the CS is to get people out shooing with their cameras.

Soooooo, let’s go HAVE FUN!!!

Usual forum guidelines apply.

If you have never posted to the CS before this is a great time to try it out.
Anyone may participate as long as the basic guidelines are met

**”Fire” for which the fuel was derived from solid carbonaceous matter (“earth”) and for which the oxidant is oxygen in the “air”. One of the principal reaction products is “water “.

Bob -

Might that be a BernzOmatic? If so, you have just jogged my memory!

In any case, this is spot on for Ed's theme.
