Did some looking down today while checking out an exhibit that's under construction at the local Art Museum.

"Let him who.....throw the first stone" must have been a lot of good folks around for a while.

Practical shot here. I love this ground cover and want to get some for planting in a large section of my backyard. Name anyone?

I can stand next to this but I've been told that I can't walk on it.

Those are mere pebbles, Art. My ex-wife has the lock on real rocks!

Ground cover is totally unknown to me.

Well, have you TRIED walking on it?

Thanks for a strong finish, Art.

A last shot from my Bray Tower collection. This is at least as straight down as I would ever want to see! But then again, I'm not a 24mm lens.

Nikon D600, Tokina 12-24mm f/4 AT-X AF Pro DX, 1/100s f/8.0 at 24.0mm iso220

And you can't get much more straight up than lying on your back on a sleeping bag to get the shot! But the whole time I kept wondering, do I really want a half-dozen birds to come land on the rim of that thing? :woot:

That would have been even a cooler shot if you had had the birds, maybe a camo cloth cover next time.

Sunrise on Granola. This got me a " Payback" FB message shared pic, of me standing on the kitchen counter.

I was out for a bit today, returning some equipment that my wife used for physical therapy to the rehab facility, and in the small town of Fremont, I drove by this abandoned building with a smoke stack. I ventured over, and took some shots. Been away, my computer has been sick a couple of days.

The smoke stack

I really like these, and for some reason I love brick work. The first shot has a lot of character in it. The second tells a story of age and decay. Hope you didn't have a icicle/snow fall on you.

That's a really creative way of turning the mundane into a piece of art, Tom. Beautiful work. And you survived the counter, even better.

Nice set Art. I do like the ripples in the water and reflections.

Good depiction of height on the first shot. Got a smile from me about the bird feeder. Nicely done.

Thanks for hosting Harry! THis was a tough challenge, trying to shoot in a different perspective.
