This weeks CS 494 features the topic of:

“I SPY”

When I was a child, the kids would be sitting in the back of the station wagon while Dad drove along.
One of us would spot something of interest and say “I Spy” and give a clue like a color or a shape.
Example: “I spy an brown four legged animal.”
The response would be to shout out “Cow” if there was indeed one alongside the road.

Applying this to the CS photo shoot it would go something like this:

I could post a picture and say “I SPY SOMETHING PURPLE”

For a response someone could simply comment “flower.”
OR
A person could post another picture of something flowery or purple, like this:

"A purple quilt from a recent show I attended"

Another person might want to then continue on with something like this:

"I's not purple, but is also a fish"

Given that we are all busy and just posting as a hobby, let's not make this too difficult....just have fun!

Hope this works, let's give it a whirl. Someone can start off with either of the three images above or start a "I Spy" topic of their own. There might be several going at once.

JUST HAVE FUN and be CREATIVE!

***If you get lost by all this, just take a nice picture and share it for all of us to enjoy***

Almost forgot....the shoot runs from 12:00 AM April 28th through 11:59PM May 4th. Only post pictures taken within that time frame.
Please only three images per post. Make sure the content is family friendly.

Now I'm going to have dinner and watch a movie....no that's not a new topic.

Nice theme Ed. It should be interesting to watch trees of images grow and others emerge. Still thinking to see if I've got this right. So I could continue your tree of pics with something fish-ish or gold in color or star shaped. Is that correct?

A starfish is no more a fish than I am (another problem with common names :)) but this sea urchin is an echinoderm like a starfish.

Yes, you are quite right and a righteously good picture as well!

Yep, or purple as in the original....or a flower. The string is additive so it will eventually cover a large number of things. Hope this works for everyone!

So to recap. We now have pointed out:
flowers
the color purple
fish
quilt
and a class of sea animal (echinoderm)

Someone could also point out "five sided" star or "globular"

Catching On??
I think I've got it. Now to overcome the heat and get a camera out for a bit.

Good one Bob. I think I'm catching on to this. Nice shot and a pretty flower.

So nice to look at. Like the dark background and those large leaves.
