While those of us in the northern hemisphere are dealing with winter conditions, our colleagues in the southern hemisphere are enjoying summer. So let's celebrate the seasons by posting photos which reflect the season in which we find ourselves.

The idea is to post pictures representative of the current season in your locale.

Examples are hardly necessary, but I'll start with these two of the same location in winter and summer.

I look forward to your contributions.

A good subject, but it was 70 here yesterday, I can post pics of fallen leaves, that only gets me to fall as a qualifying shot. :).

Well in Sacramento I would need a Nikonos, considering all the rain we have had.
Will have to work on some interpretation of this fine theme.

Winter?

It sure doesn’t seem like it with an outside temperature of 67°F and this view “through” the windows.

Good, Bob. Winter involves a lot of rain almost everywhere.

Nice theme Jim, and great examples. Will be challenging with all the unseasonable weather we are having lately...

Yeah, in the 50s here with some rain. Snow is almost gone. Good representation of the weather, without going out in the mess. :)

We have had a big thaw the past two days also, but last weekend's bitter cold (4ºF low and 15 ºF high) left quite a bit of ice on a local pond.

What causes the round holes in the ice?

Nice pair of shots. Must be moving water there? Maybe some outlet pipe there? I'd be more concerned if it was a square hole. :)
