Hello my friends - I'm back.
You all have done a wonderful job in the last few CS.

And now it's my turn again. I would try to show our skills with the theme "Minimalism".
Show someting concentrated to only one simple part. At best you'll take a look to my examples to know what I mean:

(1) Rain -> single drops

(2) Landscape -> one tree

(3) Birds -> just a trace

I'm really curious about your thoughts an interpretation of this theme. It was a huge discussion in our local photo club once.

Kind regards and thank you for your marvelous work of the last few weeks

Glad to see you're back Klaus! Looks like a challenging theme. Will have to think on this one...

No doubt -- it is a very subjective genre. Although the tree image is fantastic, I'm sure that some folks might push it further with additional cropping to remove the ground while others might have tried to focus on the bird as the essence of the photographer's message. 'Tis indeed a challenge, Klaus

Nice Bob. The second one is my favorite, especially the wordplay on the title.

Lake Winnipeg is big - over 400 km long and about 24 km across at a narrower point where I took this shot in not so great weather yesterday. I've always liked attempting pictures with simple layers in them.
