Hi folks,

just a little late, but I like to present you the theme for this week:

Celebrating the #555, please show pictures that have to do with the number "5".

Five persons, five things, the number 5 etc.

Regards
Klaus

Aha… a prime number; a member of the Fibonacci series; and the degree of symmetry displayed by this Rose of Sharon [and a 5-fold kaleidoscopic left reflected projection of the same flower].

Woke up (on my own) this morning and looked at the bedroom clock, which said 5:35 AM. Laid in bed for fifteen minutes and then went downstairs and grabbed my camera and came up and took a shot of the clock...

Lot's of 5's on my cell phone too at that hour...

Being a morning person, I showered, shaved, had breakfast, took the dog for a walk and then took this picture on our 5-2 season porch:

Interesting topic Klaus. :)

Bob - nice interpretation, cool shots of the blossoms.

Paul - nice timing. Took me a second to figure out the "5 - 2 season porch. :D

As for me, my left foot still has five (mostly) complete toes. Just missing a good chunk of a toenail. :hurting:

I don't know how it is possible to match a man as clear-headed as you in the morning, Paul. Nicely creative!

Only if you count a gauze-wrapped pill-bottle as a toe! :)

Yeah, I'm really a morning person. Up at 5 am (awaken by my cell phone - used to use my watch), on the weekends, up around 6-6:30pm usually, 7 at the latest. I usually get up and get right going.

My wife, on the other hand, is like waking a bear, after Winter hibernation :) Lays in bed for another 30-60 mins, groggily heads down stairs, and has to have two cups of coffee before she is coherent.

Thanks for the commentary on my toe - getting a good chuckle out of responses. :)

Paul - I'm counting at least 27 "fives" on the tire image, but I can't read all of the text. Nice maple leaves, love the subdued colors.
