CS #562 - Common Items Up Close

Welcome to CS #562!

This week we have something a little different. All posts will be two parters - the inital post and after a little time, the answer.

Here's how it works:
You take a photo of some "common" item that everyone is familiar with. You can either use a macro lens or crop it after you shoot. Like this:
Subscribe to see EXIF info for this image (if available)


Then people tell you what a great photo you posted and guess what it is.

After some guesses, you can then post the entire photo (if you cropped it) or a backed up view (if you used a macro lens)

The idea is to make common, everyday items look like abstracts or even like other items.

Interesting theme and nice example. I don't have any macro lenses (my Fuji X100s can do somewhat of a macro mode, and I have an 28mm that can get up to 6" or so), so I'll need to crop heavily.
