This old shelter has kept me warm and dry during storms of the past week, and now it is just basking in the early morning sunlight.

Ice Castle...

Last night, my wife and I went up to Woodstock NH for dinner and to visit the Ice Castle they have there. It's a large exhibit and draws a lot of people. Here is an open area in the center of the castle:

They have lights inside the ice formation, and they vary the color over time. It's a cool (sic) place place to visit. If fact, one of the small cubbies was just perfect for an informal engagement proposal, of which I just happened upon...

They had slides at the castle, that both young and old were enjoying:

My wife was checking out one of the sections, as a possible shelter for us in the Winter... :)

No, she wouldn't dare go down the slide. I would have, but I wasn't dressed for it and the line was long.

Lastly, they had some performers there as well, doing shows every hour...

A spiritual shelter on a dull (but relatively warm) Sunday morning.

That's neat -- I'd love to visit one of those. And, the bonus of the proposal ceremony is a "once in a lifetime" happening.
Yeah, wish I was there 30 seconds sooner, I could have gotten him placing the ring on. By the time I saw it, and focused the shot, she already had it on.

It's a noun, it's a verb, it is important around April 15. It is static, it can move, it is impossible to carry, it can be carried on your back--it is needed during a rainstorm, or at the beach in the bright sun!

Here are a couple more to set the ideas in motion
