8 PM on Thursday nights finds my reality in a 2 meter Ham Radio swap net in Sacramento.
Occasionally we get people checking in from other States through linked repeaters.
That is my friend "Armond" speaking right now, can't you tell by his voice?
The red light on the bottom is the power supply on off switch.

Anything goes:ROFLMAO:

Great idea for a theme, West!

Whether you think this is eggsactly balanced, screwed or glued, any interpretation works for me. That's because in keeping with West's theme, it's none of them. :)

Setup
The tabletop is black poster board and the background is black velvet. Two captures were made, one for the brass part and one for the egg. In both captures, a small lamp flagged to prevent light from falling on the rear of the tabletop was in the front left area. A white reflector was on the right side, closer to the subject in the capture of the egg than in the other capture. The egg in the second capture was moved to the first capture.

I would say it is the normal size for a J-pole antenna. Notice the re-purposed vise as an
antenna mount. btw, 2 meters FM is pretty much line of sight. However, the repeaters
are often linked together sometimes through the internet, vastly expanding coverage.

Enough of the Ham Radio primer....now let me think of something really creative.

It might be nice if we had at least some small degree of variability.

Everyone following this thread will surely be glad to also see Anyone else have this problem with their laptop
After seeing (at Mike’s suggestion) Ray’s out of bounds treatment, I just had to try one. It’s not as effective as Ray’s, but it was fun to do.

You are very brave: I would not dare to post a shot of my desk!
