A chance this week to show something out of the ordinary; whether an uncommon sight in your part of the World, or just something you don't habitually photograph.

By way of example, these guys are fortunately still a rare sight round my way:

Grey's monument is normally a plain stone column:

And, while fog on the Tyne is common enough to merit its own song, it's not so often that I'm out of bed early enough to get an image of it:

Hares, lots of them, approximately 1.8m tall...

A local children's charity here in Norwich, "Break", periodically organises a "Sculpture Trail". Companies sponsor mostly local artists to paint blank fibreglass sculptures which are placed around the City to form a trail, there are fifty of them. When the event is over the sculptures are auctioned off with proceeds going to charity. Previously there have been Elephants, Gorillas, and Dragons.

Here (no pun intended) are just three of them.

Thanks for hosting, Al. Really interesting images

Will make an effort to join in this week. Have been busy packing up to move and getting my condo ready for the market.

Think I know what box the cameras are in...possibly
