That cutter came up from San Diego for Harbor Days this past weekend, which is a yearly event in Oceanside. The mouth of the harbor is very shallow and needs to be dredged, consequently it is dangerous at times especially when we have large swells. The depth is only 9 feet at low tide, which causes the waves to break in the entrance to the harbor. When this boat came in on Saturday it almost broached and could have capsized.I was hoping for a nautical example, and yours fit the bill. And then there was Dave's below!
