Hello my friends,
it time for a new CS again.

The theme this week will be "Manual Mode" and will ahve a wide range of possibilities:
- Switch your camera to "M" - Manual and take pictures (whatever you like)
- Show items that are used in a manual mode (broom instead od a vacuum cleaner, etc.).

Give your imagination a chance

Had to be the first to jump on this, giving I LOVE manual mode...both on cameras and cars...

Do MF lenses count? My 500/4P I still use is manual focus.
No good light today, deer were not cooperating with us. Noticed a majority of Nikon shooters over the couple of days I went to enjoy Rut season. Used to be that other brand. Lot's of 200-500's on everything from D500 to 850's

Thnx.
Yeah I do enjoy it too, but also have missed a lot of shots because of it. Still holding off buying an AF version but the new 500PF does look tempting ) Don't know really, I do have less time then when I bought the P. The 200-500 is far cheaper but we tend to shoot at 500 (on DX) or with a 1.4TC cos animals are so shy here.

After two hard days of working around the house, this evening, I went over to my friends house, where he was having a party with roast beef on the spit, and a ham in a infrared cooker (plus tons of other good food that folks brought):

Even a four legged friend was there to enjoy the attention at the party:

Taking a hint from Larry, here is something eminently manual, and in keeping with the theme, it is mostly lit by two candles on either side of the lens (manual light!). Used a Kenko 12mm extension tube on my Nikon 50 G 1.8.
