Thanks Connie. It is a raggy edge poppy that was specially bred by a nursery in the south of England to commemorate those who died during the Falklands campaign. As we are coming up to Remembrance Day it is particularly good to see this late bloom.That is a gorgeous poppy!

Great pictures James.I'm in NW Missouri and the trees are just starting to turn colors. However, there is still too much green in the trees to appreciate the autumn colors. So I decided to find other subjects that represent autumn in my area.
I grabbed my film camera last Friday and was hoping to shoot a roll and have it back from the lab before this CS ended. I get four exposures per roll and could only find one good subject to photograph so there wouldn't be enough time to get the film to the lab and back. Do digital captures this time.
