Where you post pictures taken between Thursday (22/11) starting at 12:00AM (your time zone) running thru Midnight of the following Wednesday (28/1) (your time zone)

Windows (the Non-Microsoft kind!!!!) are all around us, everyday. We look out of them, we look in through them, we look at them. We cover them up and we design them. We window shop. Our eyes are the windows to our souls.

Here are some archived shots to get you primed.

That's what I was hoping for Jim. I didn't bring my camera with me down to Boise, but will hunt down some windows after I get home on Sunday. Yeah, I have my iPhone, but that's not photography :eek::D

Palouse - that's quite a collection of window images. We are having very unusual warm weather for the next several days (in the high 50s) so I'm looking forward to getting out and see what I can come up with

Great examples!

Ironically, I recently bought a device that would help me attach it to a window to eliminate reflections. I haven't used it yet and have no immediate plans to use it. You humorously reminded me that I could have instead used a toilet plunger at a far cheaper price.
You could show us a with/without the plunger series :) And Bob (Bohdan) could add his wildlife through the window series.

I was at my daughter's and her boyfriend's house today. It's an 1890s home (or older, there are some discrepancies in the records), with original windows flanking the front door:

This week I want to feature some of the gothic windows from the Virginia Tech campus. I'll start with these two (Owens Dining Hall).

Hey Nick: even though I don't have the luxury of Bohdan Bob's backyard vantage point  :D, I wanted to toss in a snap for your CS, so here goes. We had a brief round of snow and graupel coming down this afternoon and I noticed that "our" Gambel's Quail were happy to pick up a few seeds underneath our feeders.
