Well, it's raining out there so we'll have to make do with indoor shots.

1. A couple of Atlases. Where do I want to go . . . Alaska, Amsterdam, Australia . . .

AC/DC We are off grid, so we have a battery system which is DC, but we have inverters which convert it to AC. These are our inverters. Right now there is a 15KW generator (AC) running through the inverters to charge the battery bank (DC).

Nice. I especially like the atlases. I dream of road trips and I love looking at road atlases and planning where I want to go. I retire from my current career in a year and a half and if finances allow I won’t have to start another one and will have time to travel.

Very cool! Do you use gas/propane/oil generators, solar, or combo?
We have 2 15KW diesel generators with a specialized designed transfer switch, so if one doesn't start, the other one will. There is heat in the generator room so they will start easily. It takes about 4 hours of generator time to charge the battery bank for a day's use. Once the sun gets higher, our solar panels will supplement our needed daily power.

Sorry that the background blanket is so weather worn.
Oh, and that is part of my Amateur Radio Antenna on the right.
