Haven't flown in years. When I did it was private only.

I can't come up with the type of aircraft in the pictures. The wing tips look too vertical for the newer Boeing style. The fan in the motor looks different also. Is it by chance Canadian?

It’s a 737-800. The wingtip is throwing you off. United added “split scimitar” winglets to the fleet to improve fuel economy.
