My location for this week's assignment:
Ferson Creek Fen (a small local preserve named thus for its tendency to flood)

Today's lens of choice:
Helios Forty-Four-2 (more commonly designated Helios 44-2, which is nice 58mm f/2 lens, a copy of the Zeiss Biotar design which was mass-produced for many years in the USSR)

I set out after the rain subsided to capture images of flora and flightless fauna (the Helios is not a good choice for bird photography)

Enough attempts at clever "f" words that can be used in mixed company. On to the photographs:

Fishing Bridge on the Frying Pan River - although it was running too fast, high and cold for any luck!

Fabulous set Andy! The third one is my favorite. Love the drops on the leaves and the composition. The Frog and the flowers in #4 are cool too!

Well done!

Sky on "Fire" when I woke up this morning. Actually it was a lot brighter a couple of minutes earlier. By the time I got my camera the colors had faded and rain had started. But this also shows my "Front" yard and some of my "Flowers".
