The two hobbies I love the most are photography and growing things in my yard. Here are a few of the many things I have growing right now. Hope you don't mind the image heavy reply. I love these plants!!

# 13 My grandma's old wringer washer as a planter. (When she died I couldn't let my family take it to the dump because I helped her put clothes through the wringer as a child.)

Great set, and mix of flowers and detail shots. I love the rose in shot 3, but also the Hosta and the tendrils too.

Here's a shot of the misters in the tropical section of the conservatory at the U.S. Botanic Garden.

Here's a different attempt at capturing water. This time, in its natural form...

While we were on a birdwatching hike this afternoon we were treated to a long look at a gorgeous Western Tanager, but while trying to catch my breath I switched from binoculars to camera and captured these full Ocean Spray blossoms (also known as Ironwood (Holodiscus discolor)).

Ironwood is completely new to me, Nick - nice work here. At least I know Western Tanagers

Right you are Terri--it bypasses Eastern Idaho and the Snake River rift.

I am growing a new photographer!! We went camping last weekend. My 10 year old granddaughter, Jaycie, wanted to try her hand at photography. I put the kit lens on my D5600, showed her how to move the focus point and take a photo and let her have a go with it. At first she was hanging out with me, then she wanted to go and experiment on her own. Here are 3 of hers that turned out pretty great, if you ask me!!

#2 My two daughters. The one in the black is Jaycie's mom. Some of you remember my daughter, Amber, in the camper shirt, that used to be active on the cafe.
