Wet campground conditions at Oshkosh (EAA AirVenture), so we finally got settled - barely in time for the opening night concert which is traditionally followed by a balloon burn. Though they were not technically "in flight" they did make for some interesting images (S/O to @Terri French for inspiring me to find a new opportunity to revisit this subject)...

I finally got through the users manual and Thom Hogan's guide for my Z6 was testing it with a F-mount lens when these little guys wandered by. Heavily cropped, but I'm happy (hand held, spot metering, dynamic area focusing, processed in DXO-PL2)

Geez, Nick - either that is one heck of an instructive manual or else you & that new rig were made for each other. I'm thinking the latter . . .

Another beautiful morning. My dog chases rodents while I shoot birds and planes.

Wish I could help out in hosting a CS. Moved to new condo. Unfortunately, ATT forgot to run the cable for tv and internet under the streets during construction. Could be some time before am back on. For now I am limited to iPhone.
