Looks like a wonderfully restful place and perfect for a photo workshop for the next generation of photographers.
I have enjoyed looking though these shots of everybody's home town, much more interesting and genuine the the glossy mag pictures.

It’s always fun to look at the photos the kids take and see the world through their eyes!
Ominous is what comes to mind first!
Right after I took this a big lightning strike hit really close chasing me back in the house.

Thanks, I never took the CPL filter off the lens from my fishing trip the day before so it inadvertently got little bit of extra pop.
That huge cloud really grabs your attention. Reminder that we should be using the CPL more.
We are enjoying our home away from home. We have spent 7-10 days here 34 summers!!

Digging for buried treasure was a big hit today.
Boating activities are always the biggest hit. Our old boat is still plugging along. Even our little four year old grandson with a rare metabolic disorder and some resulting muscle problems was able to make a ski run without falling down.

I hear that a few fish have returned to Redfish. Did you see any? Is that Williams Peak in the last shot?

We are surely looking forward to retirement. I'm not sure about the fish. Hopefully we will get to the nature trail soon. That is often where we see the Kokanee. We will probably make it to the Stanley fish hatchery and I'll see how many Sockeye have returned. The kids said that there were lots of guppies in the swimming area today.
It's really sad but I don't know the names of the peaks. Guess it's time I found out.

I wished I could have done a second posting, but when it decided to hit 95+ by noon every morning this week, I retreated.
