With a few hours to go I decided to hunt for signs of autumn. Found a couple right in my backyard (all with a 1.4 tc).

1. Fireweed is just about done for the year and is ready to send out its minute seeds in search of new places to colonize.

2. Milkweed too has shed its flowers and has started producing its cucumber-like seed pods.
