CS 668 needs a jump start. Trying to come up with a theme

-> Try to find...
bars and beams,
grates and grids,
girders and framework,
carriers, rails and sleepers...

I don't have a good image yet, starting it off at the office - but I'm sure we'll find interesting patterns this coming week. Just make sure your contribution has anything to do with the herein before mentioned things and don't shy away from thinking around the corner, also, and surprise us all.

Here we go:

This allows me to shoot at the office - not my primary intention, but I'll take it :)

We still have some paper (most is in the computer, though)

A chair? First, I thought this one was in your first upper picture, too. :)
Yeah, this is one of the wooden bar stools by the kitchen counter. The ones in the first shot are plastic wicker chairs on the three season porch. Hmmm... may shoot those... :)

Some of the amusement rides at the Woodstock, CT fair seemed to meet the theme of this week's Collective. I didn't have a Nikon Camera with me but I did have my Canon S90, "Just in case". I forgot to disable the date stamp.
