A couple of snaps from today's local climate rally. Inspired by Gordo's theme, I tried for some candid B&W street photography, but managed only one that barely qualifies. I couldn't resist the 2nd, and I'm calling it Barney v 2.0.:D

I haven't had much time this week, but here's a solar clock that is sitting on my desk:

Is that a saltine cracker - lower left - on your breadboard?

Just in case I get hungry while I’m soldering. ;)

It’s actually a lithium battery. The board is attached to an 800mA 6V solar panel (4” x 8”) that’s taped to the inside of a window that gets a lot of sun. About 4 hours a day of sunlight is sufficent to keep that battery full. Without sun, the battery has about 3 days of juice in it.

F/8 gives me the shutter speeds that result in some propeller blur that some people like.
