Last cross country meet (for me) this year. The Foot Locker Midwest Regional:

1. Still not very good at panning at slow SS, but I hoped to convey how fast these boys are moving.

2. Chasing the leader of the pack in the Freshman/Sophomore race

3. The course had been drenched by rain, so the athletes had a mudfest. This young man has a great future before him. In the Championship heat where the fastest runners from 14 states took the starting gun, he finished 12th - as a sophomore.

4. One of the coaches was impressed by the photographer's agility and speed as he hustled across the final stretch to get into position for the finish.

Very nice set. Panning is very challenging, but fun.

This is an outstanding series, and number two is my all-around favorite. You’ve done a great job here!
