We've had unusually drab and boring weather for a week, and before I set to making my own light and shadows I made one last attempt at finding something natural. This Oregon Grape leaf is so brilliant and reflective and does well to show of the sharpness of the S lens--a sharp subject with a sharp lens, makes it a visual pun too!

The color of the leaf is amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a one that color before. Beautiful!

This is a very pleasing image. Not only do you have the reflective red ornament, you also have the clear glass ones in the left background. And the lighting just makes everything sparkle. I like it!

Okay, so this is a stretch, but if you look reaaaalclose, you'll probably see my car reflected somewhere in the ornamental lights...

I decided to jump off the highway and take the scenic route to work this morning, and while driving down a residential street came across this house with it's lights all aglow...
