I was looking through my discards from last night and it turns out I did catch a pesky Nuthatch in flight. Not one that will make my top 5, or top 10, 000 but free of the ground!

We have had nothing but blue sky (or now smoke filled) skies for so long. I would love to see some beautiful storm clouds like these!!

We have had nothing but blue sky (or now smoke filled) skies for so long. I would love to see some beautiful storm clouds like these!!

The smoke has cleared out a bit today so you could see the Sun go down. I watched it set on my evening walk at the sod farm.

The smoke is "migrating" our way, slowly. But it has cooled down. Those are about the nicest shots of a center pivot sprinkler ever!

We have cooled a bit, too. Upper 80s today. The smoke is supposed to return soon. Now there are fires north of us, so if the airflow changes we will get it from that direction, too!!
