I'm still recuperating from being sick so no night trips for me. I tried from my deck, but my first attempts were failures. I'm getting much better so hopefully I can give it a proper try.

Getting the moon in focus caused the tree to be blurry. It was worth a try, though. I really haven't done this sort of shooting before. It's fun to give it a try.

This is really pushing the envelope, but this is a morning shot of the moonlight out of my family room window. When I first get up blurry is how my body and especially my eyes are for the first little while. Are you the same? I got an in focus shot, but I liked this one the best for some reason.

That's a brilliant shot, Terri. It's how my eyes greet the new day—fuzzy and tentative, until I find my glasses.

It was a dark night with a strong smell of skunk in the air. I took this shot, jumped in the car and drove home.

As it happens, I had planned a shot for moonrise over the Juno Beach Pier, but clouds interfered at the critical moment. Here's what I got instead after it rose above the pier. Still trying to teach myself Capture One...

This is the same moon a little while later.

I took the larger moon to replace the smaller moon over the ocean to create my first composite in Photoshop and it is still one of my most downloaded images on Adobe Stock.
