My package was missing "Envelope B," which has to be signed and returned. Otherwise, my vote would not be counted. However, give the government kudos for knowing in advance that they would make mistakes, as shown in the photo
I bet it's all by design, there is no reason to send you something and then ask you if you received it. Probably some type of awareness or competence exercise the Feds dreamed up for their next study.
 
I got something in the mail a couple of weeks ago which purported to be a mail-in ballot application but when I read it I noticed it placed me in City of Fairfax, as opposed to Fairfax County -- a crucial jurisdictional difference and serious error. I promptly discarded the item right then and there. Rather than doing mail-in voting, I am planning to go to Mason District Governmental Center when in October they start providing hours for in-person early voting.
