Had a nice winter hike today. My daughter's family has had covid. They all had a mild case and everyone is well and finished with their quarantine now. It was fun seeing them today. The z50 was a perfect hiking companion and the kit lens did a great job. Here are a couple of the kids.

I went on a photo walk with a friend of mine on Wednesday morning. The historic town we visited had these wonderful stone stairs sandwiched between two stone row houses. It made for a nice location to take portraits.

The Mrs. and I on a hike on Read Mountain near Roanoke yesterday.

Photo made by my daughter with my camera.

And here are our daughter and granddaughter on the same hike.

As you can see, it was a pretty steep climb...1100 feet in two miles up. Then the reverse, of course.

The view from the top looks down on the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport.

Super walks around your way Jim.

Why aren't there any birds at my feeders today?

Ahhh . . . so that's why!
