I'm generally not a bird photographer but found a few shots in my archives from 2009 that I shot while at the ocean in '09 w/ a noisy Canon G10 compact camera.

Nicely done, Connie. Do you have a name for him/her? I think that I remember you have a GBH named Harold . . .
LOL!!!! I DO have a GBH here, but his name is Alfred. (You know: "Alfred the Great...."). As for this goose, nope, no name, as there are so many of them and they all look alike. Alfred was easy since there is only one of him! I haven't seen him lately; last time was a month or so ago, but I'm sure he is still around. Now that the weather is starting to get warmer I"ll be going out walking around the lake and will look for him in the areas I know he likes to hang out in.

I watched this osprey for an hour, but he didn't do anything more interesting than this. Photo was taken as the last bit of light faded for the evening. Between the TC-14, the high ISO and the crop, there's not much left...

I asked this pair of Lesser Goldfinches to vacate the thistle seed and perch on a nearby branch, but they didn't comply. Oh well . . .

Back to the eagles aerie this morning. Saw the second eagle out of the corner of my eye so missed focus. Still kind of a nice shot of the pair.
