Work in progress...

I spent much of yesterday constructing the stone border along the front of the flower bed that you see in the center of the photo. Eventually there will be mulch between it and the flower bed, but I'm still tinkering.

Evening in the deepest part of the wildflower garden. Flowers are just getting started for the season. Hepatica and Trillium.

My roses are all in bloom and I have caught three of them being kissed by the morning sun. All images are just quickly taken hand held shots from this morning.

Same as my picture above, but after mulching and a rain shower.

The brown area in the foreground between the stone border and the walk has been planted with grass seed, and hopefully will soon be green.

Beautiful photos, if a little dark.

Your flowers are about two weeks behind ours here, but ahead of those of Menbrial (next picture).

(p.s. Mrs. T. points out that the pink flowers are Rue Anemone rather than Hepatica)
The dark was somewhat intentional as the existing lighting created a dark mood in the woods that I visualized. I did add some very dim illumination on some, but am trying to make that work without creating odd shadows.

(p.s. Give Mrs. T a gold star! She is right, that is a Rue Anemone. Hepatica are coming soon.)
