This amphibian startled me by landing on my head as I was loading one of the compartments on the camper. After I composed myself, I composed this image of him sitting on the weatherstrip material at the top of the open compartment. Because of the way the light and shadow fell on him, I saw it as a B&W image at the time I exposed the frame.

It's amazing you had the composure to get a photo after it landed on your head. The B&W is my favorite!

Greg has been working on a project all week. It is still a work in progress but far enough along to try out. When you see the first photo you might wonder what in the world he is doing. A different perspective makes everything clear. BTW, it's a huge hit with the kids and will make for a fun July 4th picnic.

This insect perched on our window and allowed me to photograph it from two sides.

Frankly, I can't see much difference between the two views.

Yeah, same picture twice—by mistake?

Nope:

Here's another shot from the inside with a slightly different perspective:

Uh......that first photo, with the offer to guess what was going on in it and what seemed like emphasis on a certain area to me...... IMHO, well, just not really flattering to the child, given what drew my attention and what I was looking at and wondering and thinking...... Later images did offer more in the way of what was actually going on, thankfully! For those of us who don't have children some of their toys and activities do not automatically spring to mind when viewing photos unless there is an explanatory followup along the way, which there was in this case so I finally got the gist of this!
