This time around, we are looking for photographs which shows "Air" Be creative. Find simplicity in the shoot or complexity.

  10. Hi Tamara -

Had her owner either had time to cut the grass today, or had he been quicker on the shutter, I'm confident that Sophie would have been photographed with all four legs (and both ears) getting "air time" . . . lol.

    Thanks for hosting this CS,

Where did you take the "storm in the air" shot? Was the wind moving the tree like that, or did you move the camera? The air conditioner looks good in b/w.
  15. Love this shot!
  16. I shot this yesterday afternoon, standing in West Sayville, NY looking across the Great South Bay to the Fire Island Lighthouse, 9.5 miles away as the crow flies (according to Google Earth). I love the atmospheric distortion provided by such distance, even on a beautiful and clear day.

Like the last shot the most...really nice!!! It always amazes me that they don't manage to set the balloon on fire while they are filling it (first shot)
  19. Tiny wings beating the air

Caught this little Hummingbird on our Zinnias just a few moments ago... There were two flitting around, fussing over feeding rights.

    Taken with D300 and 300 f4 AF.
  20. NICE!!
