Well, at last I got a new car, and can get around much more.
This past weekend, I seduced my second half in going to a Cuneo Mansion / Museum.

Sadly, we got there too late to actually get inside the mansion, but we managed to walk around the park.. these were shot with 10-20mm

PS

does anyone else sees that #1 is crooked? Lady and I are arguing about that...

having it shot at 10mm, of course they do.
as far as the #1 goes, i feel like the horizon line is skewed a tad, lady disagrees.

I might run a lens correction at some point

You don't have a true horizon in #1 -- the only horizontal lines might be the roof lines in the background. If you superimpose a grid on the image, the horizontals look pretty darn close:smile:. [You can probably see any discrepancy better with the full size image.]

The slanted verticals in the foreground are a consequence of projection of a 3D scene onto a 2D sensor that is not squared up with the objects (classic "keystoning") -- it's just more noticeable with a wide angle lens. [It's not a "lens distortion" in the usual sense. Rather, it is something can can easily be adjusted with your software's "perspective warp" transformation.]

BTW, that does look like an interesting place to visit -- get there early next time:biggrin:
