I know we have a few members here from the UK.
I was quite surprised to hear about this.
I do not believe I've ever heard of the UK being prone to hurricane type weather.
Looks like they're predicting sometime Thursday.
Be Safe everyone.

I think a number of Atlantic hurricanes have eventually struck the British Isles as strong storms, but our news outlets don't make the connection.

I hope this one doesn't cause too much damage.

I have friends in Cornwall..... Also in the more central part of England. Scary for all of them1
There is no alert on any weather service or news service for any part of the UK.
I am not sure which media is reporting this as a crisis.

There were massive amounts of rain and flooding here in the last couple of days, this was supposed to come from the remains of one of your hurricanes as it heads up and then east towards us.

I live up in the Cotswold hills, near the top of a hill, so I'm well clear of it. But it has delayed me lighting my annual bonfire.

I don't know if you can see this web page about the Isle of Man (just off the west coast): https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-49903610
